Club Championship's Rules
1. ADMISSION
All Members, with or without cattery names, in good standing for the relevant year are allowed to participate in the Club’s Championship for the referring year.
Members are required to send the certificates obtained by their cats to the email address of the Secretariat within February 28.
The final ranking will be published on the Club’s website within March 31st of the following year.
2. SHOW COMMISSION
The Show Commission will have the following tasks:

Support Members with the sending of the certificates;

Remind Members about the deadline for entering the championship and certificates within February 28th;

Check the scoring, elaborate the final ranking and send it to the club’s board within March 31st;

Takes care of the prizes and prepare diplomas for the winners, based on the budget assigned by the club’s Board;
-
Organize the prize ceremony.
3. VALIDITY
Only results obtained during FIFe shows will be taken into consideration, from 1 January to 31 December of the referring year.
4. CATEGORIES AND REQUIREMENTS
The Championship is divided into three categories:

Kittens and Juniors (4 to 10 months)
-
Adults (after 10 months, including neutrals)

Catteries
Members not yet owners of a cattery name cannot participate in the "catteries" class but they can participate in the classes Kittens ad Juniors and Adults.
The scores will be calculated as follows
4.1. Kittens and Juniors
All kittens and youngsters belonging to Members can participate in this category, independently from the breed. A maximum of 10 FIFe shows will be considered for each cat during the referring year in classes 12 and 11. Based on the points, the first 3 cats will be awarded.
4.2. Adults
All cats belonging to Members, independently from the breed, can participate in this category. A maximum of 10 FIFe shows will be considered for each cat during the referring year in classes 1-10 being males, females, neuters, spayed. Based on the points, the first 3 cats will be awarded.
4.3. Catteries
All Members with a registered Cattery Name, of their own or co-owned, can participate in this class. A maximum of 10 certificates for each cat, independently from the class, sex, breed or age, will be considered.
Only points obtained by cats born in the cattery will be considered, being the cats still with the breeder or owned and showed by others, participating in FIFe shows. Based on the points, the first 3 Catteries will be awarded.
5. POINTS AND RANKING
To be able to determine the final scoring of a cat, the results of each step will be considered and summed as indicated in the table below:
a) score for "Puppies / Youth" and "Adults"
The points obtained by each kitten/youngster/adult will be determined by summing all results obtained, according to point 4.1 and 4.2 and following the scoring in the table above.
b) score for Breeding
The points obtained will be determined by summing those of each single cat bred (born) in Cattery according to point 4.4 and following the scoring in the table above.
6. PRIZE CEREMONY
The prize ceremony will be organized on occasion of the Annual General Assembly of the Club or during other event organized within the first half of the following year
7. DISPUTES
Members that want to appeal against the final ranking can do it by sending an email to the Secretariat within one month after the publication of the results.
